Employer Engagement Network

The goal of the Employment Engagement Network is to to create a network of proactive employers and stakeholders to provide counsel, serve as third-party validators, and advocate on behalf of private postsecondary career institutions.

To cultivate the relationship between career schools and employers, facilitating collaborative communication to reduce the skills gap and help North America meet changing workforce demands.

We aspire to create an interactive network of employers and career schools to share information and work together with the goal of expanding the pipeline of well-trained, job-ready workers. Consisting of hundreds of businesses across North America, the Employer Engagement Network will work with high-quality career schools to ensure that programs and curricula remain current and are focused upon workforce needs now and in the future. Through this dynamic partnership, schools and employers can work together and share information that will ensure that workers are prepared for the job and have all the skills necessary to succeed.

  1. Members of the Network will receive regular updates on workforce trends, industry statistics, research data, and public policy initiatives impacting career schools and employers.
  2. Network involvement provides an opportunity to advise on career school curricula, ensuring graduates are better prepared for industry-specific roles.
  3. Network members will have access to an expanded pool of graduates who have received specialized training, potentially saving time and resources on recruitment and training.
  4. Collaboration within the Network can lead to best practices for hiring career school graduates, addressing common challenges and resulting in more successful hires and better trained workers.
  5. Members can connect with other employers who share similar hiring needs and challenges, fostering valuable information sharing and professional relationships.
  6. Participation with the Network demonstrates a commitment to local communities and workforce development.
  7. Network members will have a voice in shaping education and workforce policies that affect their industries and the availability of career school training for all types of students.
  8. By staying closely involved with career schools and their graduates, Network members can gain a competitive edge in hiring top talent for their industries.
